With over 180 guests in attendance, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Xi Upsilon Omega Chapter celebrated its 40th Anniversary Luncheon on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at the Jepson Alumni Executive Center, University of Mary Washington. Guests included Fredericksburg area National Pan-Hellenic Council sororities and fraternities, Keynote Speaker, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s 17th Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, Dr. Linda H. Gilliam; Greetings, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Northern Western Virginia Cluster Coordinator, Sanita M. Walker-Resper; Introduction of Speaker, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Tracey D. Watkins, Esq., 14th Chapter President, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Mistress of Ceremony, Andrea Duplechain, Xi Upsilon Omega Chapter President. The afternoon was an awesome showcase of the chapter’s history and legacy of service and sisterhood as we continue to make an impact on the Fredericksburg community.
